A NEW ERA

The Rosa Parks Charter High School Board of Directors will hold school board elections on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. via electronic voting. All current staff, parents/guardians of current students, and  current board members are eligible to vote for candidates.
Interested in becoming a board member? To qualify, you must be at least 18 years of age and:
- Parent/Guardian of current ROSA student(s)
- Current teacher at ROSA
- Member of the Rochester area community 

Board members are trustees, not just of the assets of the school, but also of the expectations, hopes and dreams of the school community - students, parents and staff. Charter school board members are also trustees for the citizens of Minnesota, responsible for the common good and public funds.
The school board consists of five to nine members with staggered two-year terms. The board currently has four open positions to fill.

After securing a second degree in Life Science Teaching, Blair found ROC (now ROSA), and “all the pieces came together.” This marks his 24th year of teaching at a place he calls “home”. He lives in Rochester with his wife, Jodi, and two children, Ayla and Gavin. He enjoys photography, hiking, backpacking, fishing, hunting, climbing, kayaking, canoeing, biking, running, sprint triathlons, gardening, wild foods, & traveling.

Jessica has served the community as a youth social worker for the past 17 years. An advocate for humans and animals alike, she has also been a foster care provider and is actively involved in the animal rescue world. Jessica lives in Rochester with her husband and four children, who keep her very busy with their active lives. Dedicated to supporting young people, she brought her passion and talents to the ROSA School Board in 2020.
